Group Leader
Suman joined the Sheffield Institute of Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) in 2020 as a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow, after his post-doctoral position at the University of Cambridge in Professor Sir Klenerman's group. Suman's background is in structural biophysical chemistry and super-resolution microscopy techniques.
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Aga uses human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) to examine neuronal vulnerability to APOE and Amyloid beta (Aβ) with relevance to Alzheimer's disease. Aga's expertise is in membrane trafficking, cell culture, protein purification, molecular biology and biochemistry.

Secondary supervisor: Dr Ryan West
David's project uses Drosophila melanogaster (fruit fly) models, single-molecule imaging and aggregation assays to identify how Amyloid beta (Aβ) isoforms interact and contribute to Alzheimer's disease.
