Highlighting the issue of VAWG

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign which runs annually from the 25th of November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, until the 10th of December, Human Rights Day. The 16 days of Activism is a way to both highlights the global significance of GBV and to call for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls. The global theme for this year’s 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is “UNITE! Activism to end violence against women and girls”. 

We invite colleagues to submit a short-written piece (maximum 50 words) and accompanying visual representation (where possible) on the following: Highlighting the issue of violence against women and girls is important to me because: All submitted pieces will be uploaded here At the conclusion of the 16 days of activism we will gather all submissions into one repository which will be disseminated and made available in the public domain. All contributors will be acknowledged in the final artefacts.
