Our Languages
Students who have Chinese, Japanese or Korean as a significant proportion of their degree are considered "specialists" and as such take specialist language modules. There is specific information on all of our language offer below, so click through to meet your teachers and learn more about how you will be taught in Level 1.
You will be taught by specialist teams of language instructors and you’ll have a mix of speaking and listening exercises, reading comprehension tasks and written work on a week-to-week basis. Importantly, the courses will move at a suitable pace working on the assumption that nobody has any prior experience.
We will explain the structure of the courses and any language-specific information at the scheduled language-specific meetings in Intro Week and also at the start of teaching in late September.
