Tips for preparing a presentation
Please AVOID use of black writing on a solid colour. This looks great on your PC screen, but is useless in a lecture theatre. It is sensible to check your presentation in a lecture theatre before you come to the meeting.
Keep slides simple: try to avoid use of multiple panels in the same slide.
Never copy tables from a thesis or paper.
Cut out all data that are irrelevant to your talks.
Avoid insulting your audience with the statement: I know you can't see this, but....
