Turnaround Times

Our standard turnaround time is 3 working days, however, this depends on your specification, the size and complexity of your order. If your request includes design the time could increase upto 10 working days.

Can I see samples of different GSM papers and materials? 

Yes, we hold a selection of samples, please email print.enquires@sheffield.ac.uk for a paper swatch.

What file formats are you able to print from? 

PDF is industry standard and preferred. However we can print from some image files depending on the quality.

Can you adjust my artwork to fit? 

Ideally we need your artwork set to the correct size. However, if for example your artwork is set at A4 and you want an A2 poster, then yes we can scale up ‘A’ sizes. Assuming the file is of good enough quality.

Should I paginate my artwork? 

No, supply your artwork as a single file with individual pages and we will arrange them as required.  

Do you print B dimensions?

In wide format, yes, we can print any size up to 1.5m wide depending on material required.      

What is the maximum size you can scan or enlarge a file to? 

The maximum scan size is A3, enlarged or reduced size copies can then be produced or the scanned file can be supplied as a pdf. 

Why do you ask for PDF files?  

PDF files are stable - some files can alter when viewed on different platforms/programs.   

How long is the standard turnaround? 

The turnaround depends on the product and specification. When ordering please specify a required delivery date and full address. We do offer an express service for Posters which can guarantee delivery in two working days - Subject to availability. 

Can you adjust the proportions of my artwork to fit a specific size? 

No, your artwork will be scaled to fit within the size you have requested without altering the proportions. If the proportions do not match, we will maximise the artwork to fill the longest edge (leaving white space along the other edge).

Can I re-order previous myPrint jobs? 

Yes, a list of your previous orders can be seen in your profile and can be easily added back to your cart for repeat orders.
