Fascinating talks were presented by Stephen Bradley (School of Medicine and Population Health), who discussed challenges in improving early identification of pancreatic cancer in general practice and initial plans for his research in this area. Also, Ife Oyelade (School of Biosciences) shared their findings that cell cycle arrest and metabolic changes are a mechanism of kRas targeting treatment resistance.

Come along to the next meeting where Prof Nick Latimer (School of Medicine and Population Health) and Mr Adam Hague (Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) will be sharing their current research findings on estimating NHS pancreatic cancer treatment effectiveness using real-world data as well as using a breath test to identify pancreatic cancer patients (VAPOR study).
