Three Point Bend Testing

Overview

This browser-based simulation is used to replicate a real "Three Point Bend" test rig at the University of Sheffield. Students can investigate how much a beam deflects under a range of applied loads and can further investigate how the cross section of the beam also influences how much it deflects.
