MARS

MARS is the main event of MARCUS: the Medieval and Ancient Seminars bring together the wealth of research conducted on the ancient and medieval worlds within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and beyond. Our short talks are a way of showcasing research on medieval and ancient subjects to a broad audience, including university students, staff, and the broader public.

All talks begin at 4.15pm unless otherwise indicated.

After a few technical nightmares in Autumn semester, from Spring Semester 2023-24 we are moving most of our events back to in-person only, with the exception of the White Rose Medieval Seminars and other one-off or special events.

Events will take place in person in Regent Court, John Pemberton LT B.
