To qualify for the ISPF Early Career Fellowship, you must:
Hold permanent residency in Indonesia.
Be an early career researcher who has recently completed a research or academic qualification (such as a PhD or equivalent) and is not currently in an established academic post with a research-related role.
Satisfy the English language proficiency requirement of the University of Sheffield.
The fellowship is open to all who meet the eligibility criteria, with a particular encouragement for women to apply.
Additionally, your application must demonstrate:
A clear plan outlining research activities to be undertaken during the placement and how they relate to your PhD or previous work, illustrating how this will contribute to your career development.
A commitment to showcasing future contributions to capacity-building and socio-economic advancement upon completing the fellowship and returning to your home country.
A comprehensive strategy and enthusiasm for engaging other early career researchers from your home country.
Consent for your personal data to be shared with the British Council as a condition of applying for the bursary, and a commitment to maintain contact with the British Council for monitoring and evaluation purposes during and after your fellowship.
You are ineligible for an ISPF Early Career Fellowship if you:
Are employed by the British Council or the governments of the UK, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
Currently receive financial support or funding for any other programme in the UK from alternative sources.
