History in the City
Department of History, University of Sheffield
History in the City represents a body of students organising voluntary, student-led initiatives within Sheffield. Our aim is to bring history to new audiences within the local community, and encourage people to engage with history in many ways.

The committee works independently, with support from the Department of History and Faculty Outreach Team. We coordinate the individual projects, liaise with local schools and recruit student volunteers. The committee is also responsible for evaluating the success of the projects, and shaping how they should change and grow in the following years.
