Intro-week
Intro-week begins on Tuesday 20th of September and is an important time for all year 1 students. While this is an opportunity for students to meet peers and settle into university life, it is also the time to learn of the essential information for your degree.
The initial welcome to the department of Physics and Astronomy will take place on Tuesday morning. Come to Lecture Theatre 7 in the Hicks Building for 9:15am. See you then!

Activity and society fair
Sports fair
Volunteering and part-time work fair
As a registered student, you will be able to access the physics student intranet site. This is where you can find all the information including:
contacts in the department of physics and astronomy
how to declare Extenuating Circumstances (e.g. illness)
how to ask for extensions to assignments
details relating to your course
Remember to be logged into the University website in order to access.
