A chemical engineering degree offers a wide range of career options, not just in traditional chemical industries but also in many other sectors including  consumer goods, oil and gas, consultancy, pharmaceuticals, energy, water, food and drink, materials, process plant and equipment, biotechnology and the nuclear industry. You might be working in industrial teams designing and operating new processes.

94.6 % of chemical engineering graduates are in graduate level employment or further study 15 months after finishing their studies (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2022/23, based on responses from 40 home undergraduates).
