The Facility is managed by Dr. Svetomir Tzokov (Svet) with Chris Hill, with academic support from Prof. Per Bullough and Dr. Indrajit Lahiri.   Chris provides an Electron Microscopy (EM) service as well as instructing researchers in the use of the microscopes for their independent investigations,  focusing mainly on ambient temperature conventional cellular and tissue-based EM techniques. Svet largely inducts and supports staff in the use of molecular EM techniques, including cryomicroscopy (cryoEM) and the data analysis associated with them, and supports users with new Tecnai Arctica cryo-EM with the automated data collection facility and subsequent data processing.

The EM governance board consists of Prof. Per Bullough (BIS),  Prof. Simon Foster (BIS), Prof. Steven Armes (Chemistry), Dr. Indrajit Lahiri (BIS), Dr. Svetomir Tzokov (BIS), Dr. Darren Robinson (BIS),  Melanie Hannah (BIS) and Chris Hill (BIS).
