The foundation of EcoBeats' work is built on the belief in the wellbeing benefits of both music and nature. The project delivers workshops designed for children and adults across Sheffield, weaving music and nature together to create fun, creative and relaxing sessions for everyone involved. Each session is designed to be accessible, hands-on, and adaptable, encouraging participants of all backgrounds and abilities to explore creativity in a supportive setting.
In our recent programme of events, we reached over 70 participants across 6 different workshops. These sessions create opportunities for people to come together, explore music in new ways, and enjoy the benefits of spending time in nature.

Hello! I'm Hannah, the founder of EcoBeats. I study music at the University of Sheffield, and over the years have been developing a passion for music and wellbeing, community music and education.
Outside of my musical work, I’ve always felt a strong connection to nature. Increasing awareness of climate change and environmental issues has encouraged me to think about how I can use my skills in music to make a positive contribution. This is what led me to creating EcoBeats - fostering a love for nature through listening and creativity.
I'm so pleased at how successful the sessions have been, and would love to create more in the future, so keep an eye out on our website and social media for more!
