In late 2021 £18 Million was awarded to Sheffield City Council from the Levelling-Up Fund for the regeneration of Castlegate. Live Works was commissioned by SCC to hold workshops with stakeholders to create a vision for community/arts/heritage regeneration to inform the regeneration of the Castle site.
Workshops were held on the themes Art & Culture, Heritage, Innovation and the Outdoor City.
This engagement in the co-creation of the Castlegate Common Manifesto that has gone on to inform the detailed development of the site and the public engagement in November 2022.
