Castlegate Festival

Started in 2015, Castlegate Festival has run nearly annually ever since. The 2015 festival occupied the empty Castle House with multiple events, installations and exhibitions. Live Works curated an interactive exhibition including the ReMake Castlegate model and design proposals by MArch students located on sites in Castlegate. The Castle House  booklets and exhibition were created for the Castlegate Festival and the work featured in Castle House is showcased in the Imagine Castlegate book.

The Castlegate Festival has continued since 2015 as a partnership between Sheffield City Council, Exchange Street Collective and local 'friends' and community groups - featuring music, street art, skate jams, food markets, heritage walks and tours of the castle site.
