If you want your child to be evaluated for special education services, you must make a referral, this page covers what you need to know.
After you give consent, we have 50 school days to evaluate your child and hold a meeting to discuss.
Once the evaluation is complete, a committee will meet to discuss the results. The committee will include you, your child's teacher of record (TOR), a general education teacher, *public agency representative(s). If necessary, **related service providers may also participate in the meeting. Depending on the area of eligibility, other individuals may be invited to participate.
The Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a plan for providing services to students with disabilities. It includes goals based on the student's disability area(s). The IEP also outlines where students receive services.
