Peer Tutoring

If you are keen to be a peer tutor for 2022 or be tutored in 2022 please fill out the forms below and I will contact you.

If you would like to be tutored...

Please sign up for tutoring if you are struggling with classwork, want extension, or just want help to try to get better marks. I will collate the responses and you will be matched with an older student who best suits your needs and availability, and then you will be able to work out a time to meet with them.

Please respect that your tutor is giving up their time to help you, so be polite and turn up to arranged sessions, and be aware that although they are there to help you gain understanding and support you as you become more confident in subject matter, they cannot help you with or do any internals or assessments for you.

Thank you!

If you would like to be a tutor...

Please consider becoming a peer tutor as it is really worthwhile. Even if you only want to tutor one year level in one subject,  there will be someone out there that could use your help!

Tutoring is a really easy, good way to give back to the school, it looks great on your CV and it can be used for Duke of Ed service. Aside from all this, it also allows you to make more connections throughout the school and build that sisterhood, especially with the juniors, and it can be really rewarding to see someone you are tutoring make progress.

You don’t need to have any experience in tutoring or anything, just make sure you have a pretty solid understanding of the subject and are patient and willing to work through and explain things slowly. Don’t stress if you have other commitments to work around, as this is pretty flexible and the times will just be arranged between you and your ‘student’.

I will collate all the responses from volunteer tutors, and people who want tutoring, and match you up as well as I can to make sure you aren’t overloaded and are in appropriate pairings/groupings!

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Thanks!
