CYS Swim Update:

Hello CYS,  Happy 2025! This is a friendly invitation to a swim meet on January 11th, 10am we are organizing with the Catholic High School Swim Team and the Halls Middle School Swim Team.

Please sign up to attend by January 9th - Thursday evening. Coach Jackie will be working on entries that night.

We understand this is short notice, but we wanted to add another meet to our schedule, especially since we had to cancel the RBI meet in December. With the limited pool time availability, we're eager to take advantage of any opportunity to compete.

Coach Emma McCollum will be present at the meet and at practice this evening. She is one of the coaches for Catholic High School, Catholic Alum, and Coach Jimmy's daughter. She also coaches during the summer at Village Green.

Please note that our regular coaches are still out of town for the Christmas break and will not return until their classes begin.

We are aware that weather conditions could be a factor for Saturdays meet, and we will provide an update late Friday afternoon if there are any schedule changes.

We hope this meet presents a valuable opportunity for our team.

Important Practice Update:

The SAC Aquatic Center will not be re-opening this season. Therefore, our practice times will remain the same: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We know this is not ideal, but it is our only current option. We are incredibly grateful to have pool time, especially alongside Catholic High. We truly value the opportunities for our community to come together and support each other. 1/7/2025

So thankful for these team building moments where our community comes together. The uniforms look fabulous and will be shining like diamonds.
Way to Go Dance Team! 11/25/2024

Catholic Youth Swim Update:

First some sad news - Tom Schumann the President of our Swim League, KISL-Swim passed away today due to complications from surgery.  He did have family and loved ones with him in his last moments.  Some of you might have known Tom from CYS, GKAISA meets or any swim meet around town. He has been one of the head meet referees for many years. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers
-------------------------

We will have the meet this Sunday:  We will have the swim meet on Sunday at Green Meadow Country Club.  We have enough swimmers wanted to participate.

And to prepare for our first meet we were able to get a practice time tomorrow. Thursday from 8:15pm-9:15pm at Green Meadow Country Club's outdoor pool, which is covered by a bubble. It is not cold at all but rather a little bit on the hot side.

November 21, Thursday:  Practice 8:15p-9:15p

November 24, Sunday Swim Meet @ Green Meadow, meet info below and entries will be posted later this week in swimtopia (CYS website). Everyone will swim 3-4 events.

There will likely be a designated area for spectator seating that is yet to be determined.

Volunteers:  We may need some timers and a computer person to help at the meet.  If you can help please let me know.

If you have any questions please contact Coach Jackie or one of the coaches. 11/20/24

We need you & A Great Start to Eagle basketball divsional games

Our Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, and JV Boys were on fire last night. They played well and won Concord Christian, and we couldn't be more impressed.

The girls played like a well-oiled machine, and we love seeing that kind of teamwork!

The Varsity Boys struggled with the first half of the game but came out swinging in the second, and the JV Boys commanded a great win from the start with very efficient scoring and a dominate defense.

The JV Girls also put on a show playing Concord's Varsity players and our girls had such good defense they forced Concord to play zone. Way to be tough ladies!
Keep it up Eagle Basketball! We can't wait to see you play next week. 11/15/24
