Eaglet Basketball Clinics (Little Eagles – 4th grade)

Schedule - February 9, 11, 18, 20, 23, 25, March 2, March 4
Wednesdays (Feb. 11, 18, 25, March 4)
2:30pm-3:15pm (Little Eagles - Kindergarten)
3:15pm-4:00pm (1st grade-4th grade)

Mondays or Fridays (Mondays: Feb, 9, 23, March 2, and Friday: Feb. 20)
3:30pm-4:15pm (Little Eagles - Kindergarten)
4:15pm-5:00pm (1st grade-4th grade)

Coach Hall will be leading the clinics.

Athletic Fees for the team: $100.00 paid to Sacred Heart, we will bill all school accounts by February 15.  This fee does not include extra clinics, camps, or extra green fees if needed.

Housekeeping Items

1) LE–Kindergarten

• For dismissal, LE–Kindergarten students will remain in Study and will be called to the library.

• Coaches/teachers will then walk them to the gym for their clinic.

• Teachers will have the sign-up list.

2) 1st–4th Grade

• Students staying after school must bring a snack and a water bottle.

• They will report to the gym and sit while they eat their snack until their clinic begins.

3) Pick-Up

• Parents should pick up athletes promptly at the end of the clinic.

• Any athlete not picked up on time will be taken to and signed in with Club Eagle.

4) Clothing

• LE–Kindergarten: No change of clothes is needed. Students may participate in their school uniform but must wear tennis shoes. There will not be time to change clothes, as it would take away from clinic time.

• 1st–4th Grade: A change of clothes is not required. If students choose to change, they may do so independently during snack time in the gym locker room. No assistance will be provided.

2026 Girls and Boys Co-Ed Soccer Team (3rd-5th grades)

The team will be in the KISL league, playing teams as St. John Newman, Grace Christian, Webb, Paidiea, Revolution, etc. 

Season:  First game will be on March 28; games are on Saturdays. End of Season Tournament – end of April beginning of May. 7vs7, with 48 min game time

Golf   (5th-8th Grades)

Tryouts: Will be end January or beginning February 2026. All who try out must have knowledge of the game of golf and have played outside of school and must have some course experience.

Boys Middle School Soccer Team (5th-8th Grades)
 We will have one Varsity Team and if enough players a JV team.  This for 6th-8th grade (only a few spots for potential 5th graders approved by the league)

Try Outs: January 27 (Tue) and January 29 (Thu) 4:30pm-6:00pm.

Season: Sacred Heart is part of the GSL Soccer League.  The league has several divisions which play public and private schools.  Season starts March 23rd and ends May 4th-7th week of tournament play.  Practice will start right after tryouts.

Every sport has an athletic fee - $150, fee will be billed to your school account by March 15. Not included in the athletic fee, each atlete must register with GSL.

GSL Player Registration $75/per player ($50 GSL League Fee & $25 AYSO Insurance/Membership Fee) To be paid at time of registration. GSL Registration Includes:

  • Entry for one season in the Goal Soccer League Middle School program.

  • Entry for end of season Goal Soccer League Middle School Tournament

  • Memento to be distributed at the end of season tournament.

  • Refunds - Once a player's registration is completed and submitted no refunds can be issued.  There will be no refunds for a player that doesn't complete the season.

All players must be registered with Sacred Heart by January 26th & GSL by February 15th to play.  When you register you must have birth certificate available.

CYS is for any Sacred Heart, St. John Neumann, St. Joseph, and ESK students. 

Practice begins Monday, October 13th at the Pilot Family YMCA.
We’ll practice on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:45–8:45 p.m.

We’re excited to be at the YMCA for the first part of the season! Practices will move to UT after December 1st (time TBD).

Elementary basketball season is right around the corner! If your student would like to play this year, please sign up using the link below.

Our elementary teams compete in the KISL Private School League. Practices are held right after school on Wednesdays (2:30 PM) and Fridays (3:30 PM), beginning after fall break. Games are played on Saturday mornings, with the season officially starting November 1st. We plan to field as many boys’ and girls’ teams as possible.

We encourage you to join our Sacred Heart teams instead of the local leagues. The benefits are lasting—students gain consistency by playing together all the way through middle school, represent their school and community with pride, and grow as teammates on and off the court.

Busy Few Weeks in Athletics! We’ve had an action-packed stretch for our sports teams:

Varsity Flag Football -Our team is on a roll with a 3–0 record! While this Thursday’s game had to be canceled, the league will reschedule—stay tuned for details. Both JV and Varsity will be back in action Thursday, September 11 at home.

Elementary Football & Volleyball - Good Luck in your games this Saturday, 9/5.

Tennis- Shoutout to Jace Morgan, Kai Morgan, Michael McShane, Henry Stobb, and Jack Price who earned a big win over West Valley this week, 32–14!

Cross Country - Our athletes shined at their first meet of the season, the Victor Ashe Fall Invitational.

• Elementary placed 4th overall, with our K–2 team finishing 2nd!

We also celebrated personal and season records at Lake Cove:

• Nicholas Kirkland, Tori Casimero, Bradon MacDurmott (dropped 30+ seconds), and Charlie Bushmann.

• Ellen Deichart & Kyle Harder each cut more than a minute from their times.

• Huge drops from Teagan Runyan (5 minutes!), Barbara Berge (3 minutes), and Liana Potiere (4 minutes).

•  including strong debuts from Jayden Crowe and Charlotte Crowe.

Varsity Volleyball topped Concord Christian at the end of last week! Both JV and Varsity will be back in action Tuesday, September 9 at home.

Girls Soccer- Our soccer team continues to impress, holding their own against higher-division opponents. Keep up the amazing work, ladies!

Cheer, Dance & School Spirit- We have several upcoming home games and matches. The cheer and dance team are doing some amazing routines.  Come out to support our Eagles and help our cheer and dance teams bring the energy! Let’s give our athletes the boost they need to play with passion.
