BIG UPDATE: FALL SPORTS ARE STARTING THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!

We are hitting the ground running! Most of our fall sports begin this week, so if your Eagle plans to participate, please register as soon as possible so our coaches can finalize teams, rosters, and schedules.

Here is everything you need to know:

MIDDLE SCHOOL FLAG FOOTBALL | Grades 6–8

FINAL TRYOUT
Tuesday, August 11
3:45–4:45 PM

Our plan is to have three Middle School teams — one Varsity and two JV teams.

If you registered in the spring but have decided not to play this fall, please email Coach Jackie so we can remove your student from the roster.

We are also looking for additional JV coaching help! If you are interested in helping coach, please contact Coach Jackie at jbertucci@shcknox.org.

GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS | Grades 6–8

TRYOUT DAY

5:30–6:30 PM

GSL is starting its season earlier this year, so please register as soon as possible so we can get our team organized and ready to go!

ELEMENTARY FLAG FOOTBALL | Grades 3–5

We are planning to have three Elementary teams:
3rd Grade • 4th Grade • 5th Grade

TENNIS | Kindergarten–8th Grade

Our Sacred Heart Tennis Programs are run through Knoxville Racquet Club and are available for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

CROSS COUNTRY | Kindergarten–8th Grade

Cross Country is getting started right away! Here is our first practice schedule.   

3rd-8th

Monday 8/10/26 - ES/MS Practice - 5 pm at Lakeshore Park (Central Pavilion)

Tuesday 8/11/26 - ES/MS Practice - 5 pm at Lakeshore Park (Central Pavilion)

Thursday 8/13/26 - ES/MS Practice - 5 pm at Lakeshore Park (Central Pavilion)

This year, Elem. will have a Monday, Thursday, Friday practice schedule and MS will have a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday practice schedule, which allows me to accommodate the different race days. However, for our first week, we will all practice together and at the same time.

*K-2nd - They will start the K-2nd practice the second or third week of school, and more information will be coming soon.  All K-2nd practices will be at SHCS immediately after 1st dismissal.

MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL

Games begin on Tuesday, August 11!

Our volleyball teams are ready to get their season underway. We are excited to see our Eagles back on the court!  And we will need help to run our gate and concessions. Get your service hours by volunteering.

REQUIRED ATHLETIC FORMS

If your student plans to participate in an SHCS sport this school year, please go ahead and complete the required athletic participation paperwork.

Please upload the following:

• Physical signed by a physician
• Concussion Form
• Cardiac Awareness Form
• Consent Form

For Fall Sports, please have all required forms completed and submitted by September 1.

We are excited for another great year of Sacred Heart Athletics! It is going to be busy for the first few weeks, but we cannot wait to see our Eagles back on the fields, courts, and trails.
