If your medical certificate is denied, there are several steps you can take to address the situation. First, request a full copy of your medical report to understand the reasons for the denial. Next, seek a second opinion from a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) to reassess your condition. If the denial persists, you can appeal the decision to the CASA Medical Appeals Panel for further review. Additionally, consider exploring alternative pathways, such as sport aviation or recreational flying, which may have less stringent medical requirements while still allowing you to pursue your passion for flying. Taking these steps can help you navigate the process and explore all available options.
