About Shawnee Bands

The primary goal of the Shawnee Band Program is to encourage students to learn, understand, and appreciate music through performance and to study music as an art form. We achieve these goals through rehearsal and performance experiences, as well as by practicing and developing skills that deepen our understanding of music. It is our mission to help instill core values in every student. These values include self-reliance, discipline, community, and family.
