Orchestra Director
Music has always been an important part of my life. It has provided me with an emotional outlet in times of great joy, sorrow, challenge, and peace. I hope to instill the passion and skills in my students that they need for music to provide them what it has always provided for me.
I live what I teach. I have been a violinist and performer for various events for over 35 years including musicals, weddings, funerals, and formal orchestra and chamber music concerts.
I have a B.S. in Music Education from RI College and a M.M. in Music Education from Kent State University. I strive to continue learning through professional development activities that allow me to expand my own skills in performing and teaching music of all genres and for all people.
I have experience working with students and adults of all ages (my oldest student was in her 80's) and have taught general music and strings in RI and MA public schools as well as private lessons on piano and violin.

Band Director
I am blessed that music has been a significant part of my life and livelihood. I'm always learning new and fascinating things about this art form that makes me want to share newfound discoveries with my students, whether it be a song I recently heard or a playing technique I learned on an instrument. I like to think my enthusiasm is motivating and infectious as I pass along these joys to my students through enriching class lessons, rehearsals, and concerts.
Here at Sharon High I teach Guitar, Music Theory, Digital Music Composition, Band, and Jazz Band. Outside of SHS, I am the music director at my church and a percussionist in the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra.
My great joy is seeing students progress personally and musically, whether they are my student for a one-semester elective or a four-year Band member.
Music is for all students, no matter their background. Come and see what a difference music makes in your life and education.
