Algebra 2 Cohort

Students concurrently taking Honors Algebra 2 have the option to enroll in an integrated block of courses focusing on these areas. Based on their previous coursework, students will take the Honors Algebra 2 course, an Honors physics course, and an Honors engineering course called Makers and Innovators that have aligned the curriculum so that integrated units can be explored together. Throughout the year, students will become competent users of 3D drawing software, build a pumpkin launching device, learn to use a 3D printer and a laser cutter/engraver, explore the uses of an Arduino micro-controller, analyze the forces within a bridge structure, and design a mini golf course hole.
