Volunteers

The Wilson Baseball Booster Club (WBBC) is run by hard working parents of players that volunteer their time to maximize their impact in and for the Wilson baseball program. Decisions made by the Wilson Baseball Booster Club are done so at monthly Board of Director's meetings.

WBBC Mission Statement

The Wilson Baseball Booster Club is an independent, not-for-profit organization that works with the approval, support, and cooperation of the Wilson School District and the Varsity, Junior Varsity, Freshman and Middle School Baseball coaching staffs. This organization was created to promote and support the activities of the Wilson School District Baseball Program. It will promote a spirit of good sportsmanship, camraderie, friendship, and mutual respect among its members, fans, coaches, and players. We encourage attendance and participation at all WBBC meetings, Wilson School District Baseball games, and other WBBC scheduled activities.

Goals

• Provide loyal support to the Wilson School District High School and Middle School Baseball Teams.

• Provide an enjoyable, healthy, and safe environment and encourage courtesy at all games and Booster Club activities.

• Incorporate social activities to boost game attendance and build morale.

• Support the efforts of a capital campaign to provide funding for the new baseball stadium, including possible lighting, press box, concession stand, restrooms, and other stadium improvements.
