Mrs. Kramer is a Berks county native - born and raised in the Schuylkill Valley School District. After graduating high school, she attended Penn State University. After college, she moved to the Poconos where she began her first teaching job as a first grade teacher. She then taught 2nd grade for five years and got her masters in reading at East Stroudsburg University. She met her husband, Scott Kramer, in 2000 and moved back to Berks County to become a reading specialist for the Wilson School District. Her son Lucas was born in 2003 and her son Matthew was born in 2005. In 2012, Scott and Kate welcomed a beautiful daughter named Aarilyn into their family. All three of Mrs. Kramer's children do or have attended Wyomissing Area School District. The Kramers love adventure and travel as much as they are able, always trying as many action sports as possible. Some favorites are wave runners, 4 wheelers, water skiing, snow skiing, and ziplining. You may see them on various sporting fields around the community as her children play (or cheer for) football, basketball, baseball, and softball. The Kramers are also very involved at GT Church. Mrs. Kramer has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember and is honored to be able to be a part of helping children become confident readers and writers.
