About Me

I attended Kutztown University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. My Bachelor's Degree is in Communication Design with concentrations in graphic, advertising, and interactive website design. After graduating I spent a year substitute teaching and realized that I enjoy working with students. I always had an interest in mathematics and decided to pursue a new career. I went back to school for my Master's Degree and completed my student teaching at Louis E. Dieruff High School, Allentown in December 2015. I started working at Wilson in January 2017. In 2019 I got certified to teach art. I am continuing my education and currently pursuing a second masters in Art Education from the Art of Education University.

Outside of school I enjoy being outdoors, making artwork, hiking, yoga, running, swimming, and biking. My husband, Albert, is a Culinary Arts instructor at the West Campus of Berks Career and Technology Center. We have two little boys, named Albert and Arian, who are always on the move.Â
