This is my 8th year as a teacher at Cornwall Terrace Elementary. I have served as a Reading Specialist for 7 years and a 1st grade classroom teacher for 1 year. Prior to this, I taught Kindergarten for 12 years in Virginia. I currently work with students in Kindergarten - 3rd grade.  I split my teaching time between working with individual students in Reading Recovery and Title I students in a small group or 1:1 setting.    I also provide professional learning to staff and work closely with classroom teachers. 

I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2005. I went on to earn my Master of Education degree as a Reading Specialist from the University of Mary Washington in Virginia in 2015.  I earned my Reading Recovery certification from Shippensburg University in 2019.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year at CT!
