Meet Mrs. Bowers

Mrs. Bowers (Kahl) has been a teacher in the Wilson School District since 2010. Prior to teaching Discovery, she taught 5th grade and also served a year as a district-wide instructional technology coach.

Mrs. Bowers graduated from the Pennsylvania State University [WE ARE...] in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Human Development & Family Studies. She then attended Kutztown University where she earned her Master's of Education degree in Instructional Technology. Most recently, Mrs. Bowers earned her STEM Letter of Endorsement from Wilkes University.

Mrs. Bowers is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and spends her summers/school breaks training teachers on effective technology integration.

When Mrs. Bowers is not teaching she enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, listening to country music, and reading. She currently resides in Lancaster, PA with her husband and two children.
