Meet Mrs. Bowers

Mrs. Bowers (Kahl) has been a teacher in the Wilson School District since 2010. Before teaching Discovery, she taught 5th grade and served a year as a district-wide instructional technology coach. 

Mrs. Bowers graduated from the Pennsylvania State University [WE ARE...] in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Human Development & Family Studies. She then attended Kutztown University and Wilkes University where she earned her Master's of Education degree in Instructional Technology and her STEM Letter of Endorsement. Now Mrs. Bowers is back at Kutztown University pursuing a second Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and working towards her principal and supervisory certifications. 

When Mrs. Bowers is not teaching she enjoys spending time with family & friends, traveling, listening to music, and reading. She currently resides in Lancaster, PA with her husband and three children.
