This is a half credit science elective. We use the focus of the ocean to connect to different science topics. Some of the topics are the following: 

1. Ocean Ecosystems

2. The Seafloor

3. Chemistry of the Ocean

4. Physics of the Ocean

5. Biodiversity of the Ocean

Throughout each unit human impact is tied into the content.
