2025 - In partnership with the Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS), students at W.P. Wagner High School worked together for the common goal of supporting vulnerable youth in our community.
2024 - In partnership with the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, students at W.P. Wagner High School brought back Wagathon after a 5 year hiatus and worked together towards the common goals of supporting animals who have been rescued from abuse or abandonment, and working to provide them a better life.
2019 - In partnership with the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, students at W.P. Wagner High School, Kate Chegwin Junior High School, Svend Hansen School, Pollard Meadows School, Minchau School, and Weinlos Elementary School worked together towards the common goals of supporting animals who have been rescued from abuse or abandonment, and working to provide them a better life.
2018 - In partnership with the Zebra Child Protection Centre, students at W.P. Wagner High School, Kate Chegwin Junior High School, and Weinlos Elementary School worked together towards the common goals of supporting children who have experienced abuse and creating a future where every child is heard.
2017 - As a school, we had chosen to “beat as one” to raise awareness for those children affected with congenital and acquired heart disease. Through partnerships with the Children’s Heart Society (CHS), we had crushed our goal and raised over $117,000 to help support the ongoing support, education, and research programs provided by the CHS.
2016 - In partnership with the CASA Foundation, W.P. Wagner School helped raise over $93,000 to clear the perception about mental health. CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health is a major community-focused provider of mental health services for infants, children, adolescents and their families, located in Edmonton and serving central and northern Alberta.
2015 - In partnership with the EPSB Foundation, W.P. Wagner School helped raise over $43,000 for full day kindergarten programs in Edmonton's most vulnerable areas. We know investing in children today means investing in their future, our communities and our society.
