Wagathon is a premier student-led fundraising initiative based out of W.P. Wagner High School in Edmonton. Our mission is to unite our student body around a common goal: fostering community awareness and providing meaningful financial support to those in need.

Over the past 15 years, the W.P. Wagner community has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to service, raising over $1,000,000 for local, national, and global charities.

Our flagship event is the 24-Hour Bikeathon. This high-endurance challenge features student teams of 8–10 who work in rotation to keep a stationary bike in constant motion for 24 hours straight. While not on the bike, participants engage in activities, meals, and school-wide events, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and purpose. This is our largest event of the academic year and a cornerstone of our school culture.

This year we raised $98,000 for the
