Japanese 30 is an extension of Japanese 20 and is designed for students to develop their competency and fluency in the four strands of communication: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The learner will also be exposed to various cultural components specified for the 30 level. Students at this level will be able to read and write hiragana, katakana and some 80 Kanji characters.
Themes include: letter-writing, gift-giving, holidays, celebrations and traditions, entertainment, world of work, animated and drama films.
