JR Football

The Harry Ainlay football program has two teams; JR and SR. While more experienced players will find themselves competing for a spot on SR, you do not need any experience in tackle football to try out for our JR team. 

Our JR Football program strives to create a welcoming environment for those who are new to football or who have played but are not quite ready to compete at the SR level. We focus on fundamentals, effort, character, and developing players with the goal of preparing them to make the leap to SR football next season. 

In addition to our overarching goals of player development, we pride ourselves on a high level of competition in practice and in games. This has resulted in a record of 30-1-1, including 3 City Championships since 2021 when our current staff took over the program. 

If you would like to try out tackle football and will be attending Harry Ainlay or an affiliated school (LSL, DAA, etc), please fill out the google form found in the bio of our Instagram page. We will be starting our 2025 training camp on August 25th and the schedule will be constantly updated in the Calendar section of JR Football
