Program Summary

Harry Ainlay High School Football competes at the Tier 1 provincial level. We compete at the highest level offered by the Alberta Schools Athletics Association (ASAA). As of 2019 we have qualified for the provincial playoffs 9 of the past 10 seasons and our players get the opportunity to play against the best teams across Alberta. In our history our Senior Football team has won 13 City Championships and 5 Provincial Championships.

At Harry Ainlay High School we have two football teams: A Senior team and a Junior team. Our Junior team is a development team made up mostly of grade 10 players who need to get experience working on the fundamental skills of football. It is a learning environment giving our players the opportunity to improve both their skills and confidence. Our Senior team consists of a mixture of experienced and highly competitive grade 10, 11 and 12 players.

As a program we strongly believe in our core values. These core values include accountability, a team-first attitude, hard work, and integrity. Student-Athletes that become a part of the Harry Ainlay Football program get an experience that will not only make them better football players, but better people. Our players become something bigger than themselves as individuals.
