There will be an informational meeting on September 18th in the CAFETERIA from 4-5 p.m.
All students in grades 7-12 interested in being on West Shore’s High School and Middle School teams will need to attend this meeting.
Parent coaches are needed so bring your parents to find out about becoming an Odyssey of the Mind coach.
If you have any questions, see Ms. Friend in the Media Center.
September 18 - Student & Parent Informational Meeting, Wednesday, 4-5pm, West Shore Cafeteria
September 24 - New Coaches Training ,Tuesday, 4 - 5:30pm OR 6:00pm – 7:30pm, ESF Training Rooms, Getting Started, First Meetings and Spontaneous
October 26- Coaches Training, Saturday, 8:30am – 2:00pm, ESF Board Room. First Time Coaches start at 8:30 - 10:00am but anyone can attend. All Other Coaches start at 10:00 and will finsih by 2pm. New coach topics Getting Started & Team Management, Spontaneous, Style, and Balsa - Engineering for Omers.
November 16 - Teams & Parents, Saturday, 9am – 11am & 12:30-2:30pm, Teams - Lots of spontaneous, including 1 tournament style. Parents - Workshop "What is OM and Outside Assistance"
January 14 - Coaches, Tuesday, 6-8pm, ESF Training Room 3 & 4, Improving your Team's Style & Team Paperwork for Competition
January 25 - Judges Training, Saturday, 8am – 1pm, ESF Board Room All training rooms, Mandatory Training for all Judges, General and Problem specific
February 1 - Makeup Judges Training, Saturday, 8am – 1pm, ESF Board Room
February 4 - Mandatory Coaches Meeting, Tuesday, 6:00pm – 7:30pm,Viera High School cafeteria. Competition times released, competition day info, questions and answers. If the coach or a representative does not appear, team competition times will be posted online.
February 22- Space Coast Regional Competition, All Day Saturday, Viera High School, 6103 Stadium Pkwy, Melbourne, FL 32940.
April 4 - 2020 State Finals, Saturday, location to be determined.
May 27-30 - 2020 World Finals, Wednesday through Saturday, Iowa State University
