This year for art club I plan on focusing efforts on decorating campus with beautiful art! Please make sure students have clothes that can be ruined. We will be using exterior paint!

ART CLUB EXPECTATIONS
This contract is designed to ensure a positive and productive creative environment for all members of the Art Club. We aim to foster a space where artistic expression flourishes, and everyone feels respected and supported.
In our Art Club, we expect you to embody the spirit of an ARTIST:
A - ATTITUDE: Maintain a positive and enthusiastic "I CAN CREATE" attitude. Follow club guidelines and project instructions.
R - RESPECT: Respect the ideas, feelings, artwork, and personal space of all members. Be kind, supportive, and constructive in your feedback.
T - TRY: Put forth your best effort in all club activities. Embrace challenges and explore new techniques. No "I CAN'T" attitudes.
I - IMAGINATION: Unleash your creativity and contribute unique and original ideas to the club.
S - SAFETY:
Prioritize safety when using art materials and equipment.
Be responsible and clean up your workspace.
Students must remain in the designated work area at all times unless given explicit permission to leave by the club leader.
T - TEAMWORK: Participate actively in collaborative projects and contribute to a positive club atmosphere.
Club Leader Expectations:
Provide a safe and organized space for creative exploration.
Offer guidance and support to club members.
Facilitate engaging and challenging art activities.
Maintain a fair and consistent approach to club guidelines.
Behavior and Removal from Club:
The Art Club is a privilege, and members are expected to uphold the "ARTIST" principles. Failure to do so will result in the following:
First Offense: A verbal reminder of expected behavior.
Second Offense: Parent/Guardian contact and a discussion with the club leader.
Third Offense: Removal from the Art Club.
Behaviors that may result in immediate removal include, but are not limited to:
Disrespectful or disruptive behavior toward other members or the club leader.
Intentional damage to club materials or artwork.
Unsafe use of art supplies.
Repeated failure to follow club guidelines.
Leaving the work area without permission.
We believe that by working together and upholding these expectations, we can create a vibrant and rewarding Art Club experience for everyone.
