• American Musical Theatre, Advanced Chorus, & SAFA Applicants

• Vocal auditions will be scheduled together.  Depending on the courses you are auditioning for, different requirements apply. 

  •  Vocal auditions during school for current SHS Students: May 4-13

  • Enter by the back music hallway from the north partking lot.  There is a grey box painted on the blacktop near that door.  Please be patient as we will open this door between auditions.

  •  Dance Audition on 5/11 3:30 PM or 4:40 PM (all Applicants) - Chorus Room 12-101

• Chorus Music Applicants:

  • Prepared Vocal Material ("Agnus Dei") see links below

  • Brief sightreading evaluation (required for non-open enrollment classes) (FVA Examples)

    • Exercise 1: 8 measures using All-State HS Level 1 criteria

    • Exercise 2: 4 measures using All-State HS Level 2 criteria

  • Ten Tones auditions – additional 16-32 measures of a song from commercial music (bring track or sheet music).  For those also auditioning for AMT, their song from a musical replaces this requirement.

  • Prepared Vocal Materials:
