After listening to the story read by the author and illustrator, the students were challenged to build a bridge using Keva planks. The challenge included three different levels 1) simply build a bridge, 2) build a bridge that has a span the length of two Keva planks, and 3) build a strong bridge and test by determining how many Keva planks it will hold. The students experimented building bridges. Some were successful and some were not, but they had fun trying.
