Popular Series (replacements and duplicates of these well-loved books)
Updated Nonfiction Books (most requested: video games, Makerspace, Legos, biographies, cook books, and books on a variety of STEM/applied sciences)
Sets of Books for Book Clubs to be used in classrooms at all grade levels.
Proceeds from this year's Book Fair will go toward making these dreams come true, as well as enhancing our Makerspace.
How Does the Book Fair Help Lockmar Elementary?
When you purchase books or other items in person at the book fair, the school earns up to 50% back in sales depending on the final sales amount. When we had our last book fairs, book sale funds paid for Makerspace items and hundreds of dollars were spent on books for our students!
Scholastic also sponsors a “Round Up” campaign in which they donate the money earned by “rounding up” total costs to charity, and they match a monetary donation to Lockmar. Please consider “rounding up”.
Finally, you can purchase books from teachers’ wish lists and donate them to the classroom libraries. This is a great way to give back not only to your child’s current teacher, but also to ones they may have had in the past.
How Do I Pay?
Great News! There are multiple options for payment. We accept credit cards, cash, and eWallet. eWallet is an exciting feature that allows students the opportunity to budget and spend money with their own “credit card." Parents or friends and family can add funds to the account for kids to then use at the book fair. Please don’t forget to include sales tax when sending in payment or adding to the eWallet.
