Brevard Public Schools is adopting K-12 ELA instructional materials that are aligned to Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards for ELA. All communication with Publishers related to the adoption process will be facilitated in EdCredible.
The Instructional Materials Adoption for K-12 ELA Adoption adheres to FL Statutes for Instructional Materials, Sunshine Laws, and BPS Policy 2520. All meetings related to the adoption process will be publicly announced on the BPS website and will be open to the public.

ELA K–12 and Intensive Reading 7–12 instructional materials will be recommended to the Brevard County School Board for information on January 20, 2026. A public hearing will be held at the February 3, 2026 School Board meeting.
In accordance with BPS Policy 2520, student editions of the recommended instructional materials will be available online for public review at least 20 calendar days prior to the public hearing. The Board will receive public comment on February 3, 2026. See link below to access all student editions.
