National Collegiate Athletic Association is the organization through which the nation's colleges and universities speak out and act on athletic matters. Seniors wishing to play NCAA sports in college are REQUIRED to register with them. Students should begin the registration process in their Junior year of high school.

NCAA Initial-Eligibility Resource Index

The NCAA’s outreach and education efforts related to initial eligibility continue to remain a priority. These efforts are centrally focused on the NCAA Division I requirements for college-bound student-athletes enrolling on or after August 1, 2016.
