2010-2011 Highlights of Coaches and Athletes
- Coach Kevin Robinson, our wrestling coach won the bronze medal representing the U.S. in the Veterans World Freestyle Wrestling championship in Domididier Switzerland. The United States finished 3rd of of 25 internationals teams.
- Josh Ramnath was the first Heritage Panther to win a Conference Championship. He won the Cape Coast Coast Golf Championship.
- Football player Dedric Weatherspoon was selected as the Florida Today Athlete of the week after his perfromance in the Holy Trinity Game.
- Our Football team won 5 games in only our second year of competition.
- Wrestling team defeated Bayside for the first time 42-36 in a dual match.
- Basketball player LeRon Smith was selected as the Florida Today Athlete of the week after his performance in a the Cocoa Beach and Merritt Island games.
- Casey Mallory was the first Heritage Panther to win a Conference Championship in wrestling. He won the Cape Coast Conference 145 lb Championship Jan. 29, 2011.
- Boys Soccer team won the first ever district game by defeating Astronaut 5-3
- Girls Basketball team won the first ever district game by defeating Eau Gallie 24-17.
- Five of our Wrestlers placed at District and qualified for Regional Tournament in Lakeland.
- Boys Basketball team won the first ever district game by beating Eau Gallie 46-38 and went on to be the District Runner up advancing to the regional playoffs.
- Our Girls track team won the first ever meet by beating Eau Gallie and West Shores on March 2. Rachael Tobin led the team with four first place finishes.
- LaRon Smith was selected as a memner of the All-Conference Basketball team.
- Courtney Makowsky was nominated to the Cape Coast All Conference team for her Defensive play on our girls soccer team. She was nominated by coaches from our District. She is the first girls soccer player to be honored in this manner for us at Heritage.
- Varsity Baseball team won our first ever district game April 13 beating Titusville 6-4 in 10 innings.
- Congratulation to Jessie Moreno for being our first ever softball player selected to All Conference softball team.
