Hello wonderful families! Monday is almost here! I hope you are as excited as I am. This year is going to look very different than what we have been used to, but I want to let you all know that I am here for you. I expect that we will encounter nervous tummies and some bumps in the road, however we will get through this together and have fun as we do just that.
On Monday, if you are coming to school in person, you will be directed by many of our wonderful teachers on how to walk to your classroom. I am in room 801. You will see me standing outside my door. I will have a huge smile on under my mask! I will be standing there welcoming students. You will come in and find your desk. There will be a task for you to work on until our day begins at 9:00. Please remember to bring a water bottle and a snack. We will be taking a snack break around 10:00 every day.
If you are joining our classroom family remotely from home, you will need to log on to our class zoom meeting. You will find this link on our google classroom. You will first need to add our google classroom to your launch pad. To do this you will need to get on launchpad, select the google classroom icon, click on the + sign at the top right and join our class using the code you were given at registration. The code will also be sent to you through Focus. Once you have added our class, you can click on the classwork tab and our Daily Zoom Meeting link is at the top of the list. When you enter the Zoom meeting, you will be put in a waiting room until I allow access to the meeting. I will be greeting students in the classroom starting at 8:45, so you can plan on me opening the meeting to all around 9:00. I have added a link at the top of this document that will assist you in adding our google classroom.
Parents, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me by e-mail. I am sure you all have many questions. I want to let you know I am here for you as well. This is a new experience for all of us and we will be learning many new things together. I promise to keep an open line of communication with you and do my best to answer all of your questions the best to my ability.

To all my students, if you have any questions, take the time to write them down, so we will be able to address them on Monday. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning. I look forward to meeting everyone on Monday morning.
