1st Grade: Timeline

1^st grade students read about African Americans in the Social Studies curriculum. Then the students researched important dates for those persons. They used Pebble.go and Kid’s Infobits for the research information. Then they used Google Classroom to access the link for a Timeline maker by Softschool. Students entered the data and made the timeline.

Through Direct instruction students will learn to:

• Research using digital tools
• Take notes
• Use digital tools to create a digital timeline

Through Digital Learning Station Rotations students will:

• Access informational resources using PebbleGo and InfoBits
• View video tutorials for creating digital products
• Create a digital timeline
