School and Community

Eau Gallie High School is located in Melbourne, Florida in Brevard County; an emerging technological center that boasts a variety of cultural and social opportunities.  The population of the city of Melbourne was 84,678 as of 2020 census.  It is strategically located midway between Jacksonville and Miami, approximately 60 miles southeast of Orlando on Florida’s East Coast.

 Eau Gallie High School is one of sixteen high schools in the Brevard County School System. Nestled into 35 acres, Eau Gallie High School has a student population that includes 53% socio-economically disadvantaged, 34% minority, 19% exceptional education students (non-gifted), 10% gifted, 4% English Language Learners (ELL) and a 14% Hispanic Population.  The school’s current student enrollment stands at approximately 1,260.
