The time is here for us to meet and discuss the Sunshine State Young Readers Award Books (SSYRA). Have you begun reading these books? Students that will be working towards participating in Book Slam will be meeting every week in the CFI after school. In order to participate, you should (be):

• a 1st -6th grader

• available to meet 3:30-4:30 on Thursdays

• willing to read and take the AR test on the SSYRA books

• be respectful, give your best effort, and keep reading

In April, the district Book Slam participants will be selected from the members who have participated in weekly meetings. The district Book Slam dates are usually in April. Parents may contact Mrs. Enrique (enrique.lisa@brevardschools.org) for more information.
