Social Studies

The 3rd grade social studies theme is "Communities". We explore this theme using the Harcourt Brace program, graphic organizers, anchor charts, projects, and virtual field trips via the Internet. In addition, a Thanksgiving unit, including the Mayflower, Plymouth Colony, and Wampanoag Native American tribe, is integrated with our Molly's Pilgrim novel study in November.
