Occupational Therapy

The Health Science Career Cluster focuses on planning, managing, and providing therapeutic services, diagnostics services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development. To pursue a career in the health science industry, students should learn to reason, think critically, make decisions, solve problems, communicate effectively, and work well with others.

The Occupational Therapy program offers students the opportunity to work in the rehabilitative services industry. Occupational Therapists work with injured, ill, or disabled patients by providing therapeutic support in everyday activities. Occupational Therapists help patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills that are needed for daily living.
