Opening Reception

All That Remains is an exploration of human nature in the form of ephemeral objects. Be the first to see this delicate art by local artist Samantha Bias at the free opening reception with best-selling vegan cookies by Kashmere Cookies.

Masks are required and there will be staggered entry to the exhibit based on arrival time and museum capacity. There is limited parking behind the museum with additional parking available on the north side of South Park Blvd. across from the museum.

Virtual Artist Talk

Cyanotype "SunPrint" Kit

Registration Deadline: Sunday, September 20 at 11:59pm

Pick Up: Wednesday, September 30 - Friday, October 2

Order a pre-made SunPrint kit by Samantha Bias to create your own cyanotype at home at your own convenience! The kits include photo-sensitive paper, objects to make a print, and full written instructions. An instructional video will be released on Saturday, October 3. Participants will be expected to provide hydrogen peroxide and either a double sink or containers for water. This project takes 30 minutes-1 hour to complete depending on the level of sun and results in a beautiful, deep blue print.

Registration costs $30 per member, $45 per nonmember and ends Sunday, September 20 at 11:59pm. If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact officemanager@shakerhistory.org. Reduced $15 registration fees are available to those receiving SNAP benefits through the Museums for All program. Please contact us at education@shakerhistory.org if you qualify for a kit at a reduced price.
