Here are some pictures from our field trip to the Great Lakes Science Center in January.
Below are pictures from our cookie mining activity. Students were mining for chocolate chips (Non-renewable resources) and had to predict how much the could find and then how much they actually found.
Below are pictures from our first MILL (Mobil Inquiry Learning Lab). Mr. Lehman who is Boulevard's instructional coach came in to our room to model how do a MILL. This MILL was math focused and the students were inquiring into estimating. Students were in self selected groups to work on the problems that Mr. Lehman gave them. The students were using cubes, addition, subtraction and number lines. The students really enjoyed this experience, what a different way to do math!

Below are pictures from Art-To-Go in our classroom on Tuesday October 26th. The students learned all about different pieces of art from the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Below are pictures from our field trip to Holden Arboretum on Monday, September 25th.
The students had fun learning about different things in natures. The students loved looking for different creatures that lived near or in the soil, or decomposing logs.
We will return to Holden Arboretum in the spring. When I know our spring date I will let you know.
